Microsoft Under Fire After Hackers Access Outlook Emails to Steal Bitcoin

By CCN: Hackers infiltrated Microsoft Outlook email users’ accounts in order to steal crypto, including bitcoin. The scope of the cyber-theft is still as-yet undetermined, but it appears to be more expansive than first thought. One victim is Dutch engineer Jevon Ritmeester, who says a hacker gained access to Microsoft customer support workers’ login credentials. The hacker used this information to pore through Ritmeester’s Outlook emails to reset passwords and withdraw bitcoin from his accounts on cryptocurrency exchanges. Ritmeester is furious at Microsoft’s casual reaction to this egregious negligence. Crypto theft was apparent motive for hacks So far, Ritmeester says

What is an STO (Security Token Offering) & 10 Reasons Why It Will Have a Massive Impact

Startup financing took a dramatic turn in 2017 as initial coin offerings (ICOs) burst onto the scene. In 2017 and 2018, more than $14 billion flowed into blockchain projects as investors looked to capitalize on crypto euphoria and the low barriers to entry made possible by the ICO funding model. It has been less than a year since the market for ICOs went bust, but the impact of the new crowdfunding model will endure for many years to come as startups look to tokenize real assets and leverage the power of the crowd to finance their next major project. But

Tesla Embarrassed by Major Chinese Buyer in Giant New York Billboards for Million-Dollar ‘Electromechanical Failures’

By CCN.com: Times Square visitors were treated to an embarrassing shellacking of Elon Musk and his Tesla clown car on Monday. Three advertisements appeared in the popular area of New York City demanding that Tesla provide Shenma, a high-end Chinese ride-hailing firm, with compensation.  Shenma is unhappy that more than 20% of the 278 Tesla cars delivered to the firm had “electro-mechanical failures”. The loss in productivity cost Shenma 6.5 million yuan, approx. $970,000, the Chinese firm said on social media platform Weibo. Shenma Zhuanche, ride-hailing company in China, reports losses of close to 1 mil USD after 20% of

Elon Musk Shills Ethereum, Price Goes from Red to Green

By CCN: Elon Musk might have the SEC breathing down his neck about Tesla, but he’s having some fun with crypto Twitter. In a one-word tweet, he single-handily drew in the entire crypto community to his thread.  The Tesla CEO simply said “Ethereum.” After he let the cat out of the bag, the ETH price started moving, erasing declines that have weighing on the second-biggest cryptocurrency all day and turning them into gains, albeit briefly. Elon Musk might want to tread lightly or he’ll get the SEC after him yet again for a completely different reason this time. jk —

Beto O’Rourke Definitely Didn’t Steal His Moronic Climate Change Plan from AOC

By CCN: Presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke has stupidly chosen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as his “policy model” and unleashed a climate change plan he definitely didn’t write by pasting the Green New Deal into Google Docs and performing a search-and-replace. The plan calls for $5 trillion to be invested in the United States’ infrastructure over the next ten years to make it a zero-emission nation by 2050. O’Rourke says that the “greatest threat” facing our country today is climate change. That sounds just like AOC when she prophesied that the world would end in 12 years if we didn’t act quickly. Beto’s proposal
